Pay: $800-1000/day
Responsibilities:
- Administration and monitoring of various security systems
- Engage in engineering and execution of diverse security projects, ensuring high-quality delivery in line with long-term objectives
- Introduce best practices and principles to enable consistent delivery and enable alignment with long-term direction
- Work with business units and corporate partners to ensure solutions are built-in consistent with the organization's policies, programs, architectural recommendations, and information security standards; Develop and manage comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies
- Understand common types of cyber-attacks and countermeasures in the industry and engage with the business units to resolve within SLAs
- Collaborate with various business units to fortify network infrastructure security and resilience
- Develop, and manage data security standards and operational processes specifically for the AWS platform and cloud resources
- Create and maintain technical process documentation for security systems/processes
- Develop, build, and implement a mature and robust set of metrics and reports
Qualifications:
- 7 years of technical experience in information technology or information security field
- Expertise in security systems engineering, network, data protection, and cryptography
- Experience in implementing and managing DLP solutions
- Experience with next generation firewalls such as PaloAlto, and Checkpoint
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (Splunk, ELK)
- Experience in securing AWS and Azure cloud services
- Proficient in scripting with Python and PowerShell
- Understanding of various security domains, compliance requirements, risk management practices, security industry standards (NIST, CIS etc.)
- Project management capabilities with skills to prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable
