Looking for an L3 AML Consultant with at least 4 tp 5 years of experience
Hours are 9am to 6pm; 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Complete various functional tasks related to the AML transaction monitoring and EDD program.
- Perform EDD Reviews of high risk rated customers, which will include performing due diligence and negative news disposition, transactional lookback review, beneficial ownership review, PEP review, and analysis of customer risk factors.
- Perform targeted CDD Reviews of low and medium risk rated customers, which will include expected versus actual transactional analysis.
- Review customer risk factors within the customer onboarding tool and communicate with Client Onboarding team for information as needed.
- Draft and send of RFIs to other departments within the bank.
- Review alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system and escalation to case investigation where warranted.
- Perform manual monitoring tasks involving Trade Finance, Checks and FX third party transactions.
- Prepare supporting documentation for all types of investigations.
- Perform due diligence using WorldCheck, Lexis Nexis, Bank Check, and other vendors as required.
- Identify Compliance risks and properly escalate matters accordingly.
- A Bachelor's degree required.
- 4 years of experience in BSA / AML in other financial institutions.
- Technical knowledge of BSA / AML, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC Sanctions compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC), and transaction monitoring review and reporting.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak Spanish highly desirable.
- Knowledge of LATAM / Spanish regions highly desirable.
